Biography
I am a final year student at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), pursuing BSc in Mathematics. As the first in my family to attend university, I am honored to be a recipient of the Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship for Foreign Students (BDGS), recognizing my commitment to academic excellence and leadership.
Recently, I participated in a visiting student research program at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST), where I have the privilege of working under the supervision of Prof. Haavard Rue and Dr. Haziq Jamil. My work focuses on spatial statistics, and data simulation & estimation of latent trait models: Item Response Theory (IRT) using Bayesian methods.
Interests
I am passionate about combining statistical data analysis and quantitative problem-solving with emerging technologies to develop practical, data-driven solutions to real-world challenges, particularly in health and education.
